The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for assisting with the operation, maintenance, service, and repair of equipment as assigned. He/she participates in the preventative maintenance program, handles guest requests, and completes other work orders as assigned. The role requires performing trades such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, etc., and may involve driving a shuttle van when needed (property specific).
Responsibilities
Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.Change light bulbs; perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms, including vinyl repair, touch-up paint, minor furniture repair, tub caulking, and tile repairs.Perform preventative maintenance on ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen and laundry equipment, HVAC systems, guest rooms, meeting rooms, swimming pool, and hot tub.Conduct plumbing repairs, laundry equipment repairs, preventative maintenance on exhaust fans, monitor energy conservation, and repair vacuum cleaners and other small equipment upon request.Respond immediately to alarms to determine their location and cause, assess emergency status, and report findings to the Front Desk.Perform other tasks or jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.#J-18808-Ljbffr
