Engineer, Power Network Analysis - First Energy Corporation : Job Details

This is an open position with FirstEnergy Service Co., a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [FEU]. Location: Fairmont WV or Akron OH On-site The Engineer works within Energy Delivery Transmission Operations Support (EDTOS) Power Network Analysis (PNA) group. EDTOS groups support the 24/7 operations of FirstEnergys (FEs) three Transmission System Control Centers (SC - Cs) in Akron, OH and Fairmont, WV. The SC - Cs provide oversight of FEs transmission grid through monitoring, optimization, and control. PNA provides monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of the Energy Management System (EMS) Network applications for SCC end-users. Positions within PNA are dynamic and execute a wide diversity of work over a spectrum of scopes. Candidates filling this position will support a variety of initiatives and perform interactions with peers and leadership.
