Engineer - Power Generation - WEC Energy Group : Job Details

Lead scope development to include: analysis and recommendations of design options, recommendations for structures, systems and components, preparation of engineering designs, material and constructions specifications and cost estimates, review of internal and external construction plans and implementation of construction activities for more complex projects. Provide technical expertise on assigned power generation equipment and/or technologies. Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting of equipment failures to determine root causes and identify actions to prevent reoccurrence. Manage capital projects across our Power Generation Fleet territory, which could entail work at Gas Storage, Wind, Solar, or Fossil Fuel sites. Collaborate with and manage contractors for project and labor needs. Develop project budgets, schedules, and reporting of financial performance including periodic project updates.
