- Leading and managing engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Designing, developing, and testing products, systems, or structures.
- Conducting research and analysis to solve complex engineering problems.
- Preparing and reviewing engineering documentation, such as drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Evaluating and selecting materials and equipment for projects.
- Participating in project planning and management activities.
- Performing calculations and simulations to support engineering designs.
- Collaborating with other engineers, professionals, and stakeholders on project teams.
- Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in utility distribution systems.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with PECO's engineering standards and safety protocols.
- Experience with reviewing distribution design drawings
- Licensure: EIT certification or PE license.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
