PR:$68.75/hr Job Description: A Mid-level Engineer is a professional with several years of experience in the field of engineering. Responsibilities may vary depending on the specific engineering discipline, but generally include: Leading and managing engineering projects from conception to completion. Designing, developing, and testing products, systems, or structures. Conducting research and analysis to solve complex engineering problems. Preparing and reviewing engineering documentation, such as drawings, specifications, and reports. Evaluating and selecting materials and equipment for projects. Participating in project planning and management activities. Performing calculations and simulations to support engineering designs. Collaborating with other engineers, professionals, and stakeholders on project teams. Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulations. Mentoring and providing guidance to junior engineers and technical staff. Max bill rate is ***/hour Position Requirements: Staff Aug within T&S ComEd Transmission Engineering will be responsible for a range of tasks centered on the design, evaluation, and implementation of transmission design criteria. Key responsibilities may include: • Monitor and drive wood and steel structure inspection programs: Monitor contracted resources in their inspection of wood and steel facilities and ensure all data is collected and transmitted per contract. Receive, evaluate and incorporate all records into engineering records system. • Evaluation and incorporation of records within Ted CEGIS: Work down a backlog of equipment records incorporation into Ted CEGIS. Review all records for accuracy and maintain open communication with engineering internal to transmission engineering. Support will be to include records for overhead and underground. • Utilizing TLE design Criteria: Apply TLE design criteria to evaluate design deliverables to ensure adherence in both design and evaluation of EOC provided deliverables.
