About the Role
We are seeking a talented and innovative Engineer-Mechanical to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components, contributing to cutting-edge projects that drive our organization forward.
- Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products using advanced engineering principles
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models and drawings using CAD software
- Conduct engineering calculations and analyses to ensure product performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with other engineering disciplines
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulations to validate designs
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to resolve engineering challenges
- Implement design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality control processes
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree preferred
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and best practices
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Experience with simulation and analysis tools like ANSYS and FEA
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Familiarity with 3D printing and additive manufacturing technologies
- Knowledge of materials science and selection
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software
- Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented approach to design and documentation
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the field
