Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for 6-month contract with a client in Berwyn PA 19312

Title –Engineer

Location: Berwyn PA 19312, Hybrid

Pay Range: $70/hr. - $75/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)

Contract : 6 Months

Responsibility

  • A Mid-level Engineer is a professional with several years of experience in the field of engineering.
  • Responsibilities may vary depending on the specific engineering discipline.
  • Leading and managing engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Designing, developing, and testing products, systems, or structures.
  • Conducting research and analysis to solve complex engineering problems.
  • Preparing and reviewing engineering documentation, such as drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Evaluating and selecting materials and equipment for projects.
  • Participating in project planning and management activities.
  • Performing calculations and simulations to support engineering designs.
  • Collaborating with other engineers, professionals, and stakeholders on project teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Mentoring and providing guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in utility distribution systems.

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with engineering standards and safety protocols.

• Experience with reviewing distribution design drawings

• Licensure: EIT certification or PE license.

• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Availability: Immediate availability and ability to work onsite in Berwyn, PA 3 days a week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Experience: 8+ years in utility engineering, with direct involvement in regional distribution planning.

• Project Management: Experience leading engineering projects from concept to construction.

• Familiarity with design and construction processes.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
