Public Works Street Maintenance seeks qualified candidates to fill one Engineer IV position. The selected candidate would provide managerial oversight of the Public Works Operations, Highways, and Project Management bureaus. This group consists of two engineers and forty-three construction staff members. Performs a variety of complex administrative and engineering support functions for the division manager, which may include any combination of the following duties:Development and management of operational budget and Bureau manuals, forms, training, and documents. Project and construction management for major municipal roadway, stormwater, and coastal construction Perform engineering-related tasks, including constructability assessment, construction change management, cost estimating, and project scope development. Manpower forecasting. Constructability reviews of project documents. Resolution of construction issues and conflicts.
