Engineer II - Equipment - Microchip Technology : Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer to support our teams in Lowell and Lawrence, MA. The Equipment Engineer will repair, upgrade, and maintain wafer fabrication related manufacturing equipment. This candidate will also select, order, and expedite equipment and parts that are most appropriate and cost effective for maintenance of production equipment. In addition, the candidate will be required to study equipment performance and reliability and help establish programs and solutions for decreasing down-time for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Duties and Responsibilities: Partner with Equipment Engineers and Technicians in the day-to-day support of wafer fab equipment according to production priorities. Participates in equipment selection, configuration, installation, and performance monitoring for new equipment purchases and relocations.
