Engineer I - Product - Microchip Technology : Job Details

Seeking a self-motivated Product Engineer for the Timing and Communications Group (TCG). The candidate will lead and participate in all aspects of product development, manufacturing transfers and customer support for Clock Generators, Distribution and Oscillator products. Duties include:Coordinate activities of Design, Applications, Marketing, Test and Quality engineering groups to bring new MEMS based clock products to market. Define development costs and schedules. Bench characterize and evaluation of new products. Yield improvement and cost reduction activities. Support manufacturing needs and customer requests. Increase test and assembly manufacturing capacity. Requirements/ Qualifications:BSEE/ MSEE or equivalent. Must have ability to set goals and work consistently towards achieving them. Self-motivated, able to work independently, excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to excel in a multi-disciplinary team environment across multiple locations.
