Engineer I - UGI UTILITIES : Job Details

This Engineer position would be responsible to design natural gas facilities for replacement and/or upgrade. Determine mains for replacements due to leakage, or system reinforcement, and subsequent inclusion in the annual budget. Develop complete and constructable project packages, and cost estimates. Coordinate design priorities with capital construction teams, operations and other stakeholders regarding the execution of replacement and betterment capital projects. Obtain and/or coordinate bidding, permitting and material obtainment necessary for projects. Act as a technical advisor to the construction teams during the lifespan of the project. Determine necessary facility relocations and adjustments due to other utility improvements, and municipal highway reconstruction or paving.
