Estimation Engineer Job Summary: The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing manufacturing process plans, costs and timing estimates, reports, quotations, cost breakdowns, and other documentation as required by the customer for proposal submissions. Must plan and manage projects, specify and source machinery and systems. Accountable for the process including documentation, improvements, and handoff to the manufacturing facility. Responsibility: Prepare formal manufacturing plans and cost estimates for assigned programs, ensuring feasibility, timing, and capability to meet print specifications. Evaluate capital equipment, tooling, labor, raw materials, and overhead costs for new programs, including identification of new or unusual equipment sources. Review manufacturing feasibility and propose alternatives to reduce or contain costs using advanced manufacturing methods.
