Assignments have clear objectives and involve investigating a limited number of variables.
The Development Engineer will contribute to the analysis, conceptual design, development, and testing of control hardware used on military and commercial vehicles and equipment. Moog's products are typically unique per customer, requiring tailored designs or adaptation of existing ones. The engineer will work as part of a design and development team, coordinating with drafters, technicians, and other engineers.
Early in new programs, the team consults with customers, defines problems, explores hardware solutions through trade studies, and creates technical proposals. The engineer then helps evolve the conceptual design, plan projects, and develop detailed designs and tests under the direction of engineering leadership.
