Engine Noise Suppression Facility (Hush House) "I" Level - Kay : Job Details

Task Description: The incumbent of this Contractor Maintenance Services task will maintain and repair the Engine Noise Suppression Facility (Hush House) at the Intermediate Level Maintenance Facilities located at Ahmed Al-Jaber Air Base.Task Requirements:* Perform maintenance requirement actions associated with inspecting, repairing, and preventative maintenance on the Hush House and associated equipment. Complete all source documents, work requests and applicable records/reports. All necessary documentation will be accurate and submitted on time.* Assist in the F-404 & F414 engine and GTC 36-200 Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) testing and calibration efforts.* Assist I Level Power Plants work center in engine tear down and build up when required.* Assist the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) Officer-in-Charge in developing, implementing and maintaining a training program for Engine Noise Suppression Facility Operator/Maintainer qualifications.* Support on-the-job training and cross training of KAF personnel.MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS:* Minimum of four years Intermediate or Depot Level maintenance experience supporting an Engine Test Facility.* Graduate of the Aviation Engine Mechanic 'A' School and a F404 or F414 Engine Repair School or equivalent. If equivalent training is claimed, applicant must submit copies of course descriptions to Commander, Naval Air Systems Command (PMA265-12) for evaluation.* Have a minimum of three years' experience in operation and maintenance of Powerplants/APU Test Stand Facility.* JETI experience preferred.* Familiar with all special tools required for Test Facility/Stand maintenance and engine assembly/disassembly.* Knowledgeable of safety procedures regarding aircraft Powerplants, Test Stands/Facilities.7.
