Arbor Terrace Knoxville is an Assisted Living and Memory Care community located in Knoxville, TN.
The Engagement Director is responsible for leading the community's assisted living and memory care activity programs, including developing and implementing programming tailored to a variety of abilities and interests. This position also supervises other activity staff members.
A top-notch Engagement Director is creative and strategic in goal development and implementation, adaptable to change, energetic, positive, and customer service-oriented. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and computer skills, and a team-oriented attitude are essential. Prior senior living experience is a plus but not required.
We seek an energetic, creative, self-directed Engagement and Lifestyle Director responsible for implementing, supervising, and participating in activities within our senior living community.
Additional responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with active seniors and adults with Alzheimer's and Dementia, be creative, upbeat, positive, and comfortable working with groups. At least one year of relevant experience, preferably in senior living, is preferred.
