Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Energy Manager to lead corporate energy management initiatives and support our long-term energy use reduction goals. The ideal candidate will evaluate and improve energy performance across all facilities, implement sustainability programs, and champion energy efficiency throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead energy management programs in alignment with company sustainability goals.
- Benchmark energy consumption against industry standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Promote the use of renewable and sustainable energy sources across operations.
- Monitor, analyze, and verify energy consumption data for all company facilities.
- Evaluate equipment and facility systems performance to identify energy-saving potential.
- Collaborate with plant and facility teams to track progress and address setbacks.
- Propose and vet upgrade project schedules to optimize energy use.
- Develop and manage a corporate carbon fuel use reduction program.
- Assist with energy budgeting and promote synergy between cost control and energy efficiency.
- Foster awareness and build support for energy initiatives through internal communications and training.
- Track milestones and ensure timely execution of corporate energy reduction targets.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong analytical and statistical analysis capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and energy management software.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, combustion processes, and HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with ISO 50001 energy management systems (preferred).
- Strong organizational, budgeting, and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; confident public speaker.
- Professional designation such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) is preferred.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in energy management, including energy audits, performance monitoring, and personnel training.
