Job Title: Energy Efficiency - Engineering Specialist Employment Type: ContractWork Hours: 40+hrs./week Work site: HybridLocation: Irving Place, New York, NY 10003 Salary: $45 - $50/hr Position Summary:We are seeking individuals with engineering experience in the energy efficiency sector to support Energy Efficiency and Demand Management incentive programs in a technical capacity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering, particularly in energy efficiency, and will be responsible for conducting savings analysis calculations, reviewing mechanical and building code requirements, managing processes for reviewing building systems savings analysis, and coordinating with contracted vendors to ensure project review deadlines are met. Responsibilities:

• Perform savings analysis calculations on building systems and assemblies.
• Review mechanical and building code requirements.
• Develop and manage processes for reviewing building systems savings analysis.
• Coordinate with contracted vendors to meet project review deadlines.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Industrial, Sustainability).
• Three years of work experience in the energy efficiency field.
• One year of work experience in heat pump design and/or operation analysis.
• Experience with building energy modeling software.

Preferred Skills:

• Certified Energy Manager certification.
• LEED certification.
• Experience with ground source heat pump design.
• Energy modeling experience (eQuest, TRACE 700, TRACE 3D).

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday | Hybrid (2 days a week in office)
