Employment Status: Full Time

Location: Remote - Greater Chicago Area Preferred

Position Summary: Waypoint is looking for an Energy Efficiency Analyst to join our program implementation team working to engage customers from multiple market segments in energy efficiency programs. This part-research, part-customer facing role will be working with both CRE partner driven programs on ESG initiatives, as well as supporting utility energy programs. Programs include electrification, EV infrastructure, efficiency, Strategic Energy Management (SEM) and ESG.

Responsibilities:

Work directly with CRE clients on ESG initiatives including energy and water conservation programs

Conduct research supporting EV infrastructure initiatives in several regions throughout the U.S.

Develop client reports and presentations

Coordinate with utility account executives to increase adoption and implementation of energy efficient upgrades and other demand side management opportunities at scale

Periodically assist with research and development of materials for marketing, events, and partnerships with industry organizations

Travel locally up to 15% for networking events, conferences, and client meetings

Qualifications:

2 - 3 years of related experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated knowledge in data management and visualization

Knowledge of utility energy efficiency programs or benchmarking programs preferred

Adaptable to changing market and customer requirements

Team player & team builder; comfortable working directly with clients, engaging and polished
