Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner - Tandym Health : Job Details

A leading health system in North Carolina is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment at their outpatient Wellness and Nutrition Center in Thomasville. This position is focused on adult primary care with an emphasis on diabetic management.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8am to 5pm
• Setting: Outpatient only
• Call: Phone consultations only (rare)
• EMR: EPIC

Responsibilities:

• Managing diabetic and chronic care patients
• Conducting routine exams and follow-ups
• Collaborating with the care team
• Documenting in EPIC
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Family Medicine and/or Primary Care
• Active NC or IMLC license
• Valid DEA registration
• Experience managing diabetic patients
• Strong communication and clinical skills
