EMT - Emergency Med Health Serv - Full Time - Guthrie Healthcare : Job Details

The EMT is an allied health professional who provides a wide range of basic level patient care and transportation outside the hospital setting, under emergency and non-emergency conditions. The individual must be able to deal with all types of human responses from the patient, bystanders, and themselves. The EMT is responsible for functioning in the pre-hospital setting as well as various capacities throughout the hospital. Patient care encompasses patients of all ages regardless of race, religion, or cultural background. Education, License & Cert: EMT Certification with the PA DOH, High School diploma or equivalent. Will consider military experience in lieu of high school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Maintains current certification as EMT by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Maintains current certification in CPR. Must have EVOC certification with EMSVO endorsement on EMT certification, must have current valid drivers license.
