Join our team at Holmes Murphy as an Employee Benefits Captive Consultant and play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge captive insurance strategies for our diverse portfolio of clients. As a Captive Consultant, you will be responsible for achieving sales goals to grow revenues profitably through adding to a book of business with new clients by growing and maintaining relationships with agency partners. Your expertise will help guide our captives to achieve optimal financial performance and support our mission of delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Generate new sales leads through qualified calls and meetings, developing agency partner relationships to achieve or exceed sales goals.
  • Provide captive education and consulting for existing and prospective clients and agency partners.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, addressing changes and delivering documents as needed.
  • Participate in all sales activities, promoting a positive attitude supporting agency growth.
  • Attend and contribute to captive quarterly calls and meetings.
  • Support the Captive Lead in executing program initiatives and fueling growth with quality captive members.
  • Ensure team accountability regarding commitments to customers and foster a high-functioning team environment.
Qualifications
  • College degree preferred.
  • Sales experience required; employee benefits experience is highly desirable.
  • Hold or be able to obtain a state-specific Insurance Agent's License within 90 days.
  • Strong sales skills, excellent communication, proficiency in technology including Salesforce, and willingness to travel up to 50% with own vehicle.
