Category Emergency Services Description Cumberland Mountain Community Services Board has an exciting career opportunity for a professional seeking to join our Crisis Team, providing Pre-Admission Screenings for evaluation of acute inpatient needs; short-term or acute crisis counseling, crisis intervention, adult mobile crisis response. Individual will need to be available to work as needed, to include day, evening, night, weekend and holiday hours. This position involves contact with crisis situations at local hospital emergency rooms and sheriff departments.Position Requirements Minimum requirements include: Master's Degree in a Human Services Field and Licensed or Licensed Eligible' Licensure preferred, also Certified Pre-Admission Screener in Virginia preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary. Good time management and organizational skills also required. Excellent computer skills necessary in order to document in electronic health record. Valid driver's license and good driving record also required. CMCSB provides mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse treatment services to the residents of Buchanan, Russell, and Tazewell Counties. At the present time, CMCSB operates over twenty locations, to include outpatient offices, mental health recovery programs, group homes and day support programs for intellectually disabled individuals, and a residential alcohol and drug treatment program. In addition, CMCSB has several services that are provided directly in an individual's home or in a supported environment. CMCSB also provides a 24-hour crisis team to assist community agencies and individuals in crisis situations. CMCSB employs approximately 500 employees, which include full-time and part-time employees, as well as individuals receiving services who are employed to work in various day programs.
