Job Description: Alice Hyde Medical Center, located at 133 Park Street in Malone, New York, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department team. This is a full-time position that offers a dynamic work environment where you will assist and supplement our Emergency Department Physician staff.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, working closely with the Emergency Department Physician team.

* Respond promptly to calls from the nursing staff, effectively managing changes in patient conditions.

* Order and interpret tests and images, and prescribe medications as needed.

* Prepare patient discharges, including writing prescriptions, discharge summaries, arranging follow-up appointments, and educating patients and their families.

* Maintain a high standard of patient care, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the Emergency Department.

Requirements:

* Qualified and licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

* Experience in an Emergency Room setting is preferred.

* Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess and manage patient care independently.

* Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and patient education.
