Locums Opportunity - NP/PA - Emergency Medicine - Tulsa, Oklahoma RecruitWell is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join a dynamic Emergency Medicine team at a busy Level II Trauma Center in Tulsa, OK. This ongoing locum assignment offers flexible shifts, no call, and the opportunity to work within a robust health system. No candidates will be accepted based in Tulsa, OK region. Position Overview

• Start Date: October 1, 2025 - ongoing need
• Shifts: 8a-8p, 12p-12a, and 9a-9p (triage shift)
• Coverage: No call
• Setting: 5-hospital system (Level II Trauma Center, Children's Hospital, community hospitals, and FSED)
• Annual Volume: 75,000 patient visits
• Patient Load: 20-30 per shift
• Support: 80 hours of physician coverage, 36 hours of EM resident coverage, and 36 hours of APP coverage daily
• Facility Resources:
  • 61 total beds
  • 4 trauma bays
  • 12 critical care rooms
  • 32 general medical monitored exam rooms (4 for psych)
  • 5 triage stations
  • 7 fast track bays
  • 1 decontamination room
• Trauma Emergency Center (TEC) admission rate: 40%
• EMR: Epic
• Additional: Stroke certified; residents rotate through the ED

Requirements

• NPs: Acute Care (ACNP) or Emergency NP (ENP) certification required; FNPs considered with 2+ years EM experience
• PAs: Must have Emergency Medicine experience
• Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Board Certification required
• License: Active Oklahoma or Compact License accepted
