- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified, trauma level 2, and PEDs level 2 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. There are an average of 20-30 patients per shift. This opportunity is at a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 75,000 annual patient visits, offering 80 hours of physician coverage, 36 hours of EM resident coverage, and 36 hours of APP coverage. The emergency department includes 4 trauma bays, 12 critical care rooms, 32 general medical monitored exam rooms with 4 dedicated to psych, 5 triage stations, 7 fast track bays, and 1 decontamination room, with a Trauma Emergency Center admission rate of 40%. APPs are required to have ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications, and NPs must be acute care certified (ACNP) or ENP. Residents rotate through the ED, documentation is done in Epic, and APP shifts include 8a 8p, 12p 12a, and 9a 9p (triage shift).
