Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a determined Emergency Dispatch Operator who embodies our core values: Service, Accountability, Customer Focus, Growth, and Integrity.

Compensation: $18 per hour

Shifts Available:

  • Sunday- Saturday, 8:00PM – 4:30AM w/Tuesday & Wednesday off
  • Sunday- Saturday, 9:00PM – 5:30AM w/Wednesday & Thursday off
  • Sunday- Saturday, 9:30PM – 6:00AM w/Monday & Tuesday off

Responding to inbound and outbound calls from customers in the event of an alarm. This position involves agents working a hybrid schedule while using active listening skills to show a desire to assist customers who may be in distress. The overall role of the agent is to dispatch the proper authorities when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Alarm Signals received through automation and the telephone lines from customers' premises. Signals include, but not limited to, Fire, Duress, Holdup, Silent Panic, Medical, Critical Conditions, Intrusions and Burglary, Tamper, Undefined, Environmental, Open/Closes, Commercial Trouble and Supervisory Signals, and other hazardous conditions 
  • Contact the premise to verify if Alarm Signals are emergency or non-emergency
  • Dispatch Police, Fire, Medical, Guard Services, Proprietary Security, and other emergency agencies when necessary
  • Report Alarm Activity to emergency contacts
  • Prepare clear and concise records and reports
  • Transfer calls to appropriate departments for problem resolution
  • Follow Company and Department policies and procedures 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and 3rd shift - evening hour
  • Ability to work a Hybrid work schedule
  • One year of customer service or dispatching experience
  • Typing skills of 30 WPM or higher
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to successfully pass an FBI/Secret Service background check
