About the Role
Bounce Imaging is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems WebRTC Consultant to develop a production-ready embedded solution that enables secure real-time audio over WebRTC, supporting multi-user conference call scenarios via a WebRTC SFU. You will collaborate closely with our CTO and embedded systems team to deliver a fully functional device-side implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Implement two-way audio streaming on an embedded Linux camera system using WebRTC.Integrate with a selected WebRTC SFU.Deliver a reference integration as a modular, production-ready application.Ensure real-time performance and minimal latency on constrained hardware.Provide documentation and assist in handoff to internal engineering teams.Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in embedded Linux development, preferably Yocto-based environments.
- Deep familiarity with WebRTC libraries (e.g., gstreamer, libwebrtc) and their integration on edge devices.
- Prior experience implementing client-side audio streaming in C or C++.
- Solid understanding of WebRTC SFUs and signaling (Ant Media, Janus, Mediasoup, etc.).
- Ability to debug complex streaming issues on resource-constrained systems.
- Strong written communication for clean documentation and code handoff.
