Embedded C Software Engineer II - Impact Business Group : Job Details

Job Description An iMPact Business Group client is seeking to hire multiple Embedded C Software Developers. This position is for mid-level level Embedded Software Engineers. This role involves -

• Full development lifecycle stages including: Requirements Analysis, Software Architecture, Software Design, Algorithm Design, Embedded C programming, Unit Test Development, Integration Test Development, Software Verification & Validation.
• Coordinating with Project Engineering to meet product development milestones and deadlines.
• Interface with Software Testing to validate software function and quality.
• Interface with Electrical Development to assure hardware/software integration.
• Interface with multiple Engineering teams - Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Assembly, and Quality departments to support the efficient development and delivery of products.
• Participate in Product Launch Teams as required.

Job Requirements * B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline. * Technical experience in embedded software development. * High proficiency in C programming and real time operating systems (RTOS). * Strong written and spoken communication. * High degree of initiative and ownership of assigned projects. * Self-confidence to dive into completely unfamiliar technical topics. * A dedication to Innovation. * Focused on Quality and Process Improvement.
