The Director of Central Business Office oversees insurance claim submission, payer follow-up, denial management, appeals, and cash posting for technical and professional claims at Elliot Health System. This leadership role ensures efficient operations through KPI monitoring, staff productivity, and quality standards. The Director leads initiatives to reduce denials, accelerate cash flow, and optimize reimbursement via data-driven strategies and process improvements, collaborating with internal partners to surface trends and drive systemic improvements.

What You'll Do

• Direct and optimize insurance claim submissions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Lead teams tracking unpaid claims, identifying bottlenecks, and resolving accounts receivable issues
• Develop denial tracking systems, analyze trends, and implement interventions to reduce denial rates
• Supervise the appeals process, ensuring proper documentation and timely submissions
• Ensure accurate posting of insurance payments and adjustments, reconciling deposits and identifying variances

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field (Required)
• 7+ years of progressive healthcare business office experience (Required)
• 3+ years of supervisory experience (Required)
• Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI (Required)
