Responsibilities
- Determine eligibility and maintain case records, including screening and assessments.
- Calculate household income and process enrollment forms.
- Follow policies to determine eligibility and manage services accordingly.
- Process case changes, drops, and transfers timely.
- Manage high volume of case files and data entry into TWIST and other systems.
- Document cases objectively, ensuring records are reviewable.
- Provide excellent customer service, establishing rapport with clients and providers.
- Communicate policies clearly and educate new clients about program options.
- Discontinue services when necessary, ensuring compliance.
- Pay close attention to detail and maintain a positive attitude.
- Edit and produce accurate content and documents.
- Support team members as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
- Child development experience is a plus; 1-2 years of eligibility determination and customer service experience preferred.
- Adaptability to policy changes, strong critical thinking, and results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Travel & Compliance
- Valid Texas drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Compliance with background check requirements and insurance coverage.
- Ability to travel locally or out of town as needed; mileage reimbursement available.
