Elementary Guidance Counselor 2025/2026 School Year QUALIFICATIONS: Hold appropriate Certification/ Licensure. FBI & BCI Background Checks RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain appropriate counseling records and other documentation as required on students, including but not limited to documentation of student meetings, agency referrals, special education, and phone calls. Coordinate and implement individual, small group and classroom counseling activities. Support the building Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) Team. Implement and coordinate effective prevention and intervention strategies for students, families and staff. Establish and maintain awareness of district instructional goals and curriculum. Collaborate with building staff to promote academic success for all students.
