Electronics Technician - BWX Technologies : Job Details

Electrically install, troubleshoot and repair Industrial Equipment. This at times will include doing so in tight spaces or confined spaces while wearing respiratory protection, safely operate cranes, hoists, power tools, motorized equipment, and hand tools. Document daily activities in SAP PM module. Work to specialized procedures in a radiological environment. Identify, repair and replace faulty equipment through keen observation, troubleshooting and analytical rational. Work closely with coworkers and the Planning Department to locate parts and schedule repairs as necessary. Requirements Must observe and enforce all safety rules and guidelines Must have a proven understanding of installing. troubleshooting and repairing electronic instrumentation. Must have a proven understanding of installing. troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment up to 480 V, 3 phase. Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering instructions.
