Principal Accountabilities:

  • Engage with the workforce by directing work assignments and providing development and coaching.
  • Manage the workflow process related to electronics and electromechanical systems, including the ASRS system.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures for electronic and electromechanical equipment, managing inventory and corrective actions.
  • Advocate for a strong safety culture through training and observations.
  • Serve as a liaison with contractors and the Utilities department for various projects and work orders.
  • Develop and update PLC and HMI programs in accordance with guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance of measuring devices as per regulatory standards.
  • Oversee departmental budget, including labor and operating costs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Basic knowledge of Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers.
  • Competency in basic electrical circuits (24V and 120V AC and DC).
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in electrical or electromechanical technologies.
  • Experience in a food processing environment.
  • Proficient in Allen-Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Skilled in installing and troubleshooting industrial networks, including Ethernet systems.
  • Able to read and interpret schematics and conduct machine installations and repairs.
  • 3-5 years of experience with industrial process controls and networking.
