Electronics Specialist - University of North Carolina Greensboro : Job Details

This is a skilled position with responsibility to operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade as directed the automated fire alarm systems on campus. This position also performs hardware and software preventive maintenance, repairs, improvements and participate in an on-call rotation .0% Repair of Fire Alarm Systems 40% Maintenance of Fire Alarm and all Safety Equipment 15% Record Keeping and Administration of All Testing and Inspections of Fire Protection Systems 5% Construction In-House. This is a mandatory position as defined in the Adverse Weather and Emergency Event policy. Mandatory employees are expected to report to or remain at work during adverse weather and emergency events and, if deemed necessary, to work a different schedule or shift than normally assigned.
