Lockheed Martin: An Award-Winning Place to Work As a test technician, you will play a crucial role in support of our JSF F35 product line. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing top-level and subassembly testing activities.
  • Conducting tester certification and calibration.
  • Troubleshooting test failures for production and field return assets.
  • Performing acceptance testing in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Populating test logs and data sheets.
  • Compiling As-Built Lists (ABL).
  • Generating Quality Notifications for hardware deficiencies.
  • Documenting issues with Special Test Equipment (STE).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience writing detailed test results reports.
  • Familiarity with basic troubleshooting protocols to experience troubleshooting circuit card assemblies down to the component level using special test equipment, digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other evaluation tools/methodologies.
  • Read and understand drawing, schematics, blueprints, and technical publications
  • Strictly adhere to Quality procedures and proficient in MS Office

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of and the ability to implement 6S and flow principles
  • Work under general supervision and have the ability to multi-task and adapt to change
  • 2 year degree in electronics engineering technology or equivalent degree / experience
  • Experience with thermal and/or vibration testing using fixtures and chambers
  • Experience participating in RMS Operations Excellence Teams (OET)
  • Knowledge of SAP

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

The annual base salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
