Who You Are:
Versar has a unique opportunity for self-motivated security professionals, able to work independently to meet deadlines and response times, and in support of important missions within the Federal Government. We are seeking a highly skilled, full-time Security System Administrator.

What You'll Do:
Administer access controls, permissions, alarms, door schedules, and maintenance.Perform software upgrades, patches, updates, etc.Manage data backups, system migrations, lab testing, staging, production, and system deployments.Manage and maintain SES databases and applications.Handle programming and configuration management.Cybersecurity Support:
- Maintain all Security Enterprise Systems in compliance with regulations, vendor recommendations, and directives.
- Provide advance notification of configuration changes, security patching, and updates via the Government system owner and COR using ASI notices.
- Mitigate and eliminate system vulnerabilities within SES systems, applications, and edge devices.
- Perform and maintain SES systems Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements.
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience with Security Enterprise Services/Systems, including hardware, software, and application support in an enterprise environment using Master Application Server (MAS) and Satellite Application Server.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, SQL 2008/2012 or later, and Linux Red Hat.
- CSEIP certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days.
- Top-Secret clearance required for administrator privileges on SES systems.
- Tier 3 clearance required due to elevated network access.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
- Compliance with company drug and alcohol policies.
- Legal authorization to work in the US or ability to obtain it by the start date.
Compensation:
Expected Salary: $93,000 - $111,000 per year.

Location Requirements:
The position is primarily onsite in the Washington, DC metro area.
