Cattron™ is a global leader in radio remote control, engine and generator control panels, and cloud-based monitoring and control solutions. As an Electronics Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our manufactured electronic products. This position involves performing detailed inspections, including First Article Inspections (FAI), analyzing quality data, and performing root cause analysis.ResponsibilitiesConduct First Article Inspections (FAI) to verify that new or revised products meet specifications and generate comprehensive FAI reports.Collect, compile, and maintain quality data from various sources, such as production records and inspection reports.Upkeep reports on key quality metrics, including DPPM, COPQ, FPY, and other relevant analytics.Support the development and implementation of data-driven quality improvement initiatives.Follow test specifications, test procedures and verbal instructions in order to test/validate functionality of equipment.Investigate root cause analysis for corrective and preventative actions.Perform material review boards for disposition of nonconforming product.Assist in internal audits and other quality-related activities.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues identified through data analysis.RequirementsMust have general knowledge of multimeter, Ohm's Law, and electronic components.Capable of using hand tools such as wire strippers/cutters, screwdrivers, etc.Ability to read, comprehend, and apply written work instructions and drawing packages.Good verbal and written communication skills. Must be competent in spelling, proofreading, and possess a good vocabulary.Computer literacy, Windows 10, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Experience with quality data collection and analysis.Experience with FAI documentation and reporting.Education/ExperienceAssociate degree or adequate electronics experience.Experience with quality related metrics and reporting.
