Work Hours Weekend Nights: Friday to Sunday, 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM Responsibilities
- Design minor electrical circuits and test/troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic control systems for machines and equipment
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
- Install electrical and electronic controls using schematics or blueprints
- Understand electrical power and water distribution systems
- Perform basic mechanical repairs
- Perform tasks assigned to lower classifications and potentially direct their work
- Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective parts such as brushes and armatures
- Install and monitor performance of electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacements
- Interpret blueprints and follow sketches or verbal instructions
- Layout, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust fixtures, apparatus, wiring, and services including panels, breakers, and conduit
- Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures and complete circuits per specifications
- Use appropriate tools and testing instruments for electrical repairs and installations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Group Leader
Qualifications
- Two-year associate degree and 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Computer proficiency for searching parts and entering work into a CMMS

- Ability to stand for long periods, sit, bend, stoop, and use manual dexterity
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds (verified by pre-employment physical)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Required Skills & Experience
- Associate degree and 2-4 years' work experience
