Standard Work Hours Weekend Nights: Friday-Sunday, 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM Responsibilities
- Design minor electrical circuits and test/troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits for machine and equipment control
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
- Install electrical/electronic controls by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints
- Possess knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems
- Perform basic mechanical repairs
- Perform work of lower-level classifications as needed
- May direct the work of employees in lower classifications
- Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective parts (e.g., brushes, armatures)
- Monitor and install electrical equipment to assess hazards, adjustments, or replacements
- Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions
- Layout, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, wiring, and new services (including panels, breakers, and conduit)
- Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures per diagram specifications
- Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and instruments
- Perform various tasks as directed by the Group Leader
Qualifications
- Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to use a computer to search for parts and enter work into a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Position Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods, sit, stoop, bend, and use manual dexterity
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds (verified by a pre-employment physical)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

MUST HAVE:
