Job Summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled Electro Mechanical Engineer to support drawing release packaging for the Orion spacecraft program. The successful candidate will be responsible for packaging drawing releases, managing CCTC, processing PMPs, initiating drawing problem reports, and overseeing drawing development and release schedules. This role involves research, design, development, and testing of electro-mechanical equipment and systems, including circuitry components, analog and digital computers, and control test equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and package drawing releases, ensuring compliance with CCTC management, PMP processing, and drawing problem reports.
  • Oversee drawing development and release schedules to support engineering and production timelines.
  • Research, design, develop, and test electro-mechanical systems for spacecraft applications.
  • Develop electrical engineering drawings using Creo Parametric and/or Zuken applications.
  • Support manufacturing, final assembly, and testing of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE).
  • Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FFMEA) to ensure system reliability.
  • Support development of ground power and battery emulation systems.
  • Troubleshoot EGSE and conduct hardware calibration.
  • Develop electrical design documentation, including manuals.
  • Conduct rack tip analysis for electrical system integration.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical design standards like EMS200.
  • Utilize Windchill (EPDM) for data management and version control.
  • Check electrical drawings for accuracy before release.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electro-mechanical system design, drawing management, or EGSE.
  • Proficiency in Creo Parametric and/or Zuken for electrical drawings.
  • Experience in team-based environments.
  • Familiarity with EGSE design, troubleshooting, and calibration.
  • Knowledge of FFMEA and electrical design standards.
  • Strong analytical skills for reviewing electrical drawings.
  • Experience with Windchill (EPDM).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with NASA or aerospace programs.
  • Knowledge of rack assembly, integration, and production support.
  • Understanding of ground power and battery emulation systems.
  • Experience in hardware testing, calibration, and operations.
