Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Location: State College, PA

Pay Rate: $25 $35/hour (DOE)

Schedule: 9/80 Shift MonThu 7:00 AM4:30 PM, Every Other Fri 7:00 AM3:30 PM (Flexible)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team in State College, PA. This role is responsible for assembling, soldering, and testing mechanical and electronic components for high-performance systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical/electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and final products.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions with a focus on quality and precision.
  • Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and measurement instruments.
  • Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and Bills of Material.
  • Perform hand soldering and basic troubleshooting as needed.
  • Maintain work area cleanliness and adhere to ESD protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and improve processes.
  • Transport materials or equipment up to 30 lbs across the production floor.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant assembly experience, or Associates degree with 02 years of related experience.
  • US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and soldering techniques.
  • Ability to work from technical drawings and schematics.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with J-STD-001 and IPC-610 standards.
  • Electrical background at the component level.
  • Soldering and rework experience under a microscope.
  • Familiarity with RF, analog, and digital circuitry.
  • Knowledge of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
