As a Lighting Solutions Specialist, youll help bring these spaces to life with intentional lighting plans that highlight signage, enhance product visibility, and support the overall customer experience.

About the Role

Were looking for an avid learner with a background in electrical to lead the design, coordination, and execution of commercial lighting projects for retail clients across the country. Youll work closely with internal designers, project teams, and external partners to develop lighting layouts, order product, and ensure every fixture enhances the customers experience. Youll manage lighting projects from concept to install and become the guide in your field.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and order lighting solutions for retail environments
• Coordinate and manage lighting projects through all phases (concept to install)
• Draft lighting layouts and specs using AGi or similar tools
• Provide technical support and ensure proper electrical requirements are met
• Collaborate with clients, designers, engineers, contractors, and manufacturers
• Build and maintain relationships with lighting manufacturers and suppliers
• Research new lighting technologies and share knowledge with teams and partners
• Represent Decorworx and our lighting services at trade shows across the country

Requirements & Qualifications

• Background in electrical systems, construction, engineering, or CAD drafting required
• Be computer savvy
• Experience working in CAD or lighting design software is a plus
• Willingness to learn lighting systems and trends (training provided)
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and vendor coordination
• Self-directed, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in both creative and technical environments
• Must be comfortable climbing ladders to position track heads and inspect fixture placement
• Able and willing to travel approximately 1015% annually for site visits and trade shows
