Electrician - JLL : Job Details

Electrician at Schneider Electric's facilities in Foxborough, MA:

• Must have a valid Electrical License which allows electrical work to be legally performed in the State of Massachusetts.
• Some experience with electrical work in commercial or industrial settings is preferred.
• Has the ability to climb an 8' step ladder or platform ladder.
• Has the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Has the ability to safely operate a mechanical scissor lift to perform work up to 20' high.
• Complete all Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance work orders in JLL's work order system as assigned to the employee - in a timely manner to ensure compliance with completion dates/deadlines and all SLA's.
• Responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting and safely addressing/resolving electrical issues that may arise in the facility.
• Performs monthly preventative maintenance and/or testing of lighting, emergency lighting, EXIT signs, and electrical systems in the facility as appropriate.
• Lighting: Replace lamps and/or ballasts as appropriate/needed.
• Assist with the installation and repair plumbing/piping/tubing; wire single and three phase motors (single & two speed); run conduit; pull wiring to machinery, motors, operating parts, etc.
• Assist with any Electrical Projects in the labs at Schneider Electric's Foxboro facilities. This may include running new electrical feeds for new equipment and providing power to new areas of the facility.
• Requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required.
• Back up the other members of the JLL Facilities team at this location with completing work orders and resolving non-electrical maintenance issues. This may include basic repair & maintenance, light plumbing, assistance with HVAC work, clean-up, or any other number of issues where a second set of hands is needed or where the employee is asked to resolve the situation on their own.
• May occasionally be asked to assist with tasks such as the following: Help to install and rebuild pumps and motors; help to install and rebuild air compressors; assist with work involving heat exchangers; replace bearings in all types of motors; replace seals on pumps; assist with the install and repair of piping, valves, filters, hot water systems and associated controls; assist other mechanics and operators with major repairs and maintenance of building and equipment.
• Complete all assigned Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance work orders in JLL's work order system as assigned to the employee - in a timely manner to ensure compliance with completion dates/deadlines and all SLA's.
• Maintain full compliance with safety policies of JLL and Schneider Electric at all times.
• Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintains a clean and safe workplace.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

80,000.00 90,000.00 USD per year
