Electrician - Aegis Worldwide : Job Details

Aegis is looking for an electrician to join our client in Portage Indiana! This person will be installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical systems within their plant. This position is on a swing shift. Please see attached document to understand the shift schedule.Hiring manager notes:

• 3+ years of electrical industrial experience
• Industry experience- HEAVY, within a steel manufacturing plant ideally but, if not that- then a machine shop, or similar industry. Please try and avoid heavily regulated companies- chemicals, food/bev. If they have some of this in the background matched with heavier industry please still how me!
• Experience with AC/DC crane controls
• PLC- light troubleshooting experience with Allen Bradley or Siemens.
• Able to read blueprints & schematics
• Rigging, bearing, lubricating, pneumatic and hydraulic experience
• Experience troubleshooting 480 volts and below
• Able to be on high ladders, climb those, and get in tight corners if needed
• Safety oriented person!
• Able to jump in as needed and wear many hats
