ELECTRICIAN - INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE

$40-$42 an hour

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious,hands-on Industrial Maintenance Electricianswith strong troubleshooting skills. Applicants must hold a current State of Michigan journeyman or master electrician license. Must have excellent communication&documentation skills and be able to work alone or in a group setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical equipmentup to 5000 volts
• Ability to plan work, understand drawings, schematics, and instruction manuals.
• Install, program, troubleshoot PLC's&touch screens forAllen Bradley/Rockwell&GE products.
• Install, program, troubleshootVFDs(ABB, Allen Bradley PowerFlex)
• Maintain and repair mechanical/electrical drives and automation instrumentation
• Troubleshoot&repair three phase motors&motor controlsup to 1500Hp.
• Understand / Participate in amulti-craftapproach including motor couplings, belts, sheaves, guards, rigging, laser alignment, welding, etc.
• Perform all facilities maintenance includinglighting&fire alarm / fire suppression systems
• UnderstandOSHAguidelines forPPE, Lockout&NFPA70Esafe electrical work practices. Understand&adhere to NEC requirements for new installations
• Mentor apprentices as assigned.
