Electrician - Helper with Demolition Experience - Skillforce : Job Details

We are currently hiring electrician helpers with demolition experience in Chantilly, VA for on-going commercial projects. Pay ranges from $20-$25 an hour based on experience and skill set. Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Helper with demolition experience to support electrical and demolition work within a live data center environment. This role requires hands-on expertise in demolition, electrical component removal and installation, and a strong understanding of electrical safety protocols. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in sensitive, high-stakes environments.Electrician Helper Responsibilities:

• Assist electricians in installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment
• Preparing job sites
• Assemble and install electrical components
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues
• Organize tools and materials
• Perform basic electrical tasks under supervision
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean worksite.

Demolition Responsibilities:

• Tearing down and removing unsound structures and building elements.
• Cleaning up demolition and jobsite debris.
• Removing debris and loading it into containers-
• assisting with the selective demolition of walls, ceiling, flooring, and electrical components.

Required Certifications:

• Must have OSHA 10
• Must have First Aid and CPR training
• Must have NFPA 70 Electrical Coding (NEC)

Overall Qualifications:

• 1+ years experience in the electrical field and working on live data centers.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Your OWN reliable transportation.
• Good communication and attitude- This is a NO TOLERANCE site.
• Physical ability- This job can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.

Salary: $20- $25 per hour (DOE)Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday through Friday
• Day shift
