We have a relentless dedication to the future of safe and more sustainable flight and believe in our talented people to make it happen. The Electrical Systems Lead Engineer is responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions, and systems, including technical improvement of existing products and components. This role involves executing departmental operations planning or professional activities within a technical discipline, functioning with some autonomy while being guided by established policies and review of end results. This includes problem-solving to investigate electrical system field issues, reduce customer disruptions, provide manufacturing support, and support product design for Turbofan, Turbojet, and rotorcraft military (and their commercial derivative) engines. The Advanced Lead Engineer demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. The role requires experience and expertise to solve problems and develop and execute objectives for both self and others, with the ability to impact short-term and some long-term business goals. Responsibilities include mentoring less experienced engineers in electrical component design, development, and testing, as well as engineering processes and tools. The role also includes ownership of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and lightning protection requirements to ensure compliance and system robustness.
