Electrical Project Manager - Heavy Civil Electrical Construction (DOT / MTA / PANYNJ) Location: New York City About the Role An established electrical contractor in NYC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major infrastructure projects across DOT, MTA, and PANYNJ. This is a hands-on leadership role, overseeing complex electrical scopes within heavy civil environments-bridges, tunnels, transit stations, highways, and more. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of heavy civil electrical construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and manpower plans.
• Coordinate with agency representatives, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Lead contract administration, procurement, and RFI/change order processes.
• Ensure compliance with NYC codes, union labor practices, and safety standards.
• Oversee monthly billing, WIP reporting, and cost tracking.
• Resolve conflicts and keep the project on time and within scope.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of project management experience in electrical construction for public works or infrastructure.
• Strong working knowledge of DOT, MTA, or PANYNJ standards and contract requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Viewpoint, Procore, or Bluebeam.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or similar preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
