Full-time Electrical Project Manager (PM) - DODJob Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to join our team and lead complex electrical projects for the Department of Defense (DOD). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, project management, and extensive knowledge of DOD regulations and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC). Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to DOD standards, UFC, and other relevant regulations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and DOD personnel.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure quality control.
• Prepare and present project status reports, risk assessments, and performance metrics to stakeholders and senior management.
• Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with DOD requirements and industry standards.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and technical submittals.
• Implement and maintain project management best practices and methodologies.
• Ensure all projects meet safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials and equipment that meet DOD specifications.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional development.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in electrical engineering and DOD requirements.

QualificationsRequired:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical project management, with at least 3 years working on DOD projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Proficient knowledge of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and DOD standards
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
• Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera)
• Familiarity with CAD software and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred:

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience with LEED certification and sustainable design practices
• Knowledge of cybersecurity requirements for DOD electrical systems
• Familiarity with energy management and conservation techniques
