Title: Electrical Mechanical Technician
Location: North Tonawanda, NY
Training on 1stshift, then move to 2ndshift (3pm to 11pm) or 3rd Shift (11pm to 7am)
As an Electrical Technician, you willbe responsible forsupportingthe operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate must be able to conduct,maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. Must be able to apply knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles indeterminingequipment malfunctions and restore in all areas of Manufacturing.
Primary dutiesincludethe install, start up and shut down of equipmentin accordance withcompany safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown in line with OSHA requirements; informappropriate managementand line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved andmaintaincompany-required performance and maintenance records foridentifiedequipment. The job also includes performing preventative maintenance functions as directed,assistingmaintenance personnel with technicaltroubleshooting,andperformingother duties asrequired. Theideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely anddemonstratethe ability to work in a fast-paced environment,possessa strong desireto learn the maintenance of complex machinery, and have a desire to advance within the company.

The starting rate for this position is $28.53/hr-37.67/hr depending on your role, level and location.
